Wecome

Welcome to The St. Albans Town School 2010/11 Digital Writing Classroom brought to you by the Young Writers Project, a Vermont nonprofit. This site is intended for use by teachers and students with access to the private classrooms on this site. This page is for public viewing and is where teachers can showcase students' best work for parents and community members to read. Authentic audience is a powerful tool.

TEACHERS: Please send your updated class lists to support@youngwritersproject.org ... Include student name (will not be put on site), username (FirstnameL(astinitial) and grade level. Also send a list of students who graduated. And figure a date for YWP to come up and work with you ASAP!

Last year's material has been "unpublished" but is accessible to the author and teacher.

In the private classrooms, students post their homework for their classmates to read; exchange civil and constructive feedback; and use multimedia.

How to -- Get started

Teachers should make sure that they have sent their new class lists to YWP as csv files with student name in one column, student username in a second column and grade level in a third. SEND TO support@youngwritersproject.org ASAP. Confirm with email to ggevalt@youngwritersproject.org  We will update classrooms, create accounts for new students, block last year's 8th graders and provide new starter passwords for all users (we'll email to you).
